Today December graduation is 41 days from forever changing the world many college students have been in for the past four years. It will be changing her life. It makes me incredibly sad knowing the days and weeks are winding down that we have left together as roomates but I am excited for her new journey ahead. After thinking about my college experience and my graduation approaching in may, I believe you have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. Go and experience something unknown by yourself, and build yourself as a person. You can't get there by bus, only by hard work and risk and by not quite knowing what you're doing, but what you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover will be yourself. Her and I both have already done this once in our life, moving across the state to BHSU and finding out who we really are or who we want to be. I know without a doubt neither of us would trade this experience for anything in the world. It was hard and scary at first but in the end worth the risk. My advice to her in starting her next chapter is to not be afraid of fear, it is ok. Because it sharpens you, it challenges you, it makes you stronger; and when you run away from fear, you also run away from the opportunity to be your best possible self. So, here is to right now being in the moment and nowhere else. To the girls of 3911.
